Welcome to the New Oboe Music Project!

This project has been started with the aim of promoting new oboe music from all over the world. This site is still in the process of construction but in the coming months, more 21st century oboe repertoire will be featured in these Journal pages.

The launch of the inaugural Léon Goossens Prize will also be announced later in 2015. This will be held biennially and involve a prize fund to encourage young composers to write for solo oboe or oboe with piano.
